Contract writting allocation for the Elorrio - Elorrio and Elorrio - Bergara stretches of the High-speed Basque Y line

ADIF has allocated the contracts for the drafting of the construction project of the Elorrio - Elorrio and Elorrio - Bergara platform sections of the New Basque Railway Network. The global budget of both of the contracts will be 2.6 millions euros.
Elorrio - Elorrio stretch operates throughout 3.7 km across the town of the same name. As outstanding construction works in the section, five viaducts of single track are remarkable (measuring 280, 488, 235, 241 and 222km), as well as a viaduct for double track of 179m. In addition, a double track tunnel measuring 166m in length has been included. The contract has been awarded at 1,065,750 Euro.
Regarding the works in the Elorrio - Bergara stretch, operating for 4.5km across Elorrio (Bizkaia) and Bergara (Gipuzkoa), they will include in the project the construction of two viaducts of single track measuring 607 and 603m and two tunnels of single track measuring 3,645 and 3,521m. The contract has been awarded at 1,572,500 Euro.
