'Los puntos de la Y'

In order to understand the need of the New Basque Railway Network, the book examines the main six keys in the Basque Y. First, it analyses the 'situation of the current network', which is characterised by its excessive age.

Secondly, the book refers to 'transport problems in the Basque Autonomous Region', where people and freight mobility is increasingly superior. In this sense, the third point from the book gives an answer to the situation.

Next, the pages centre on the characteristics of the new infrastructure. What is more, within the section 'servicios que ofrecerá a la ciudadanía' gives attention to journey times and the tariff of the future high-speed services.

The sixth and last section echoes, finally, the great importance of the Basque Y within the Trans-European railway network. In conclusion, the book includes a map known as 'metro de Europa'.
