'The train we are constructing'

'Trenbidea, es la vía' is an itinerant exhibition that broadly speaking, provides an overview of today's situation of transport in the Basque Country, which is mainly road transport, the socio-economical and environmental problems that it provokes, as well as the alternatives of travelling by train.

The exhibition area also goes into details of execution plans and the investments expected by the Basque Government for the following years for the suburban networks regarding tram and underground.

Subsequently, a specific area will revolve around the questions posed by freight transport and train potentiality, which are an introduction to the circuit that centres on the Basque Y in particular. To conclude, the exhibition will also compile information about the high-speed actuations around the world and mainly in Europe.

It also contains two models of the total Basque Y route and a geological cross section of Bergara-Irun stretch.
