Technical conference 'New sceneries for European railway transport'

Photographs from 'New Sceneries for European railway transport' held at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao on April 9th. The Basque councillor for Transport and Public Works, Nuria López de Guereñu, was responsible for opening the event within the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Basque Railway Company, EuskoTren. Experts in the subject such as Stefan Gerber, Miquel Llevat, Iñaki Barrón and Mikel Murga participated in the conference. The latter could not attend the event in Bilbao and held his speech through videoconference.

Photos of the building works for the New Basque Railway Network along the Alava's municipality of Arrazua/Ubarrundia, included in the Arrazua-Ubarrundia-Legutiano stretch (substretch II). The works for this 5.2-kilometres long stretch, running through Arrazua/Ubarrungia and Legutiano, were awarded on March 31, 2006.

Pictures of the main commemorative event during the celebrations commemorating the 25th anniversary of the EuskoTren's foundation. The ceremony took place last June 7th at the Euskalduna Congress Hall in Bilbao. The president of the Basque Government, the Lehendakari Juan José Ibarretxe, and the Basque Councillor of Transport and Public Works, Nuria López de Guereñu attended the event. Celebrations included a performance of the dance group Aukeran.
